The Azalea Festival Parade continues to be one of Southeastern North Carolina’s largest annual event, with over 100,000 viewers each year. Our traditional parade route flows right through the heart of Historic downtown Wilmington. Viewers enjoy floats, marching units and bands, clowns and horses, all highlighted by visiting celebrities, Queen Azalea and her court, and the Azalea Festival Princess!
The 2016 North Carolina Azalea Festival Parade is scheduled to air on the North Carolina Channel at UNC-TV on Saturday, June 11th at 10:30 AM and Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00 PM. The North Carolina Channel can be seen on Time Warner Cable channel 1276 and on other select cable systems throughout the state.
