Boxing Competition

The North Carolina Azalea Festival Boxing Tournament Presented by the US Army, will be held Saturday, April 11 @ 2pm - Sunday, April 12.  

The event showcases some of the finest boxers from the National and International level of competition & from the military branches. Boxers age 8-16 and 17-34 and Master Boxers 35-up compete in six divisions from 55lb-201lb+. Participation in the past has come from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and more from around the country. This is a USA Boxing Sanctioned Tournament.

Queen Azalea & VIP Invited Guests have been coming to the event since 1978. The event is sponsored by the North Carolina Azalea Festival, Friends of Boxing, Inc., USA Boxing, Inc., and LBC North Carolina. The tournament is open to all states and all boxers who love to come to Wilmington and enjoy the excitement of the North Carolina Azalea Festival.
