What a wonderful way to wrap up a busy year than with Christmas events every
weekend!! December has been such a fun month with Christmas parades,
Christmas dances, and the first ever Jingle on the Beach event! Christmas is
one of my favorite times of the year and to be able to spend it with my
community was so special. I was able to ride in the Carolina Beach, Oak
Island, and Downtown Wilmington Christmas parades where I made memories I
will forever cherish. Mrs. Jean Lawler and I have become best friends from
our special parade experiences and I couldn’t be more thankful for her to
drive me in the parades!
The Azalea Festival partnered with the Cape Fear Volunteer Center to host
the first Jingle on the Beach where I was able to perform and spend the day
with the community. We made crafts and did so many Christmas sing alongs
with all the kids!
Looking ahead to the new year I am very excited for what’s to come. We have
the pageant in March and my graduation in June! We begin to wrap up my reign
and start getting our contestants ready soon for the big day on March 4th.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! See you all soon in the new year!
