Here in the city of Wilmington we are thrilled to celebrate the launch of the new Live Oak Bank Pavilion @ Riverfront Park. This project has been in the planning stages since 2012. It is built on a 6.6-acre tract of land and located along the Cape Fear River near the Isabel Holmes Bridge. The venue includes a large concert venue, festival space, playground, and interactive water feature, as well green space, plazas, gardens, and natural areas. This park is being welcomed with open arms by the public and businesses alike.
The North Carolina Azalea Festival could not be more honored to showcase our 2021 concerts at this beautiful top notch venue during its inaugural year.
Here are a few facts about the venue you may not know. The park is a cashless venue; only cards are accepted. Make sure your bags are clear and your chairs have no more than 9 inch legs when attending concerts or shows.
Oh and the parking- anytime someone mentions downtown we all tense up with dread when it comes to parking. Well the city has developed a wonderful solution. Check out all the parking details here.
