The Azalea Festival Parade continues to be one of Southeastern North Carolina’s largest annual event, with over 100,000 viewers each year. Our traditional parade route flows right through the heart of Historic downtown Wilmington. Floats, marching units and bands, clowns and horses, all highlighted by visiting celebrities, Queen Azalea and her court, and the Azalea Festival Princess await you!

This year the Parade will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on April 11, 2015.
NEW PARADE ROUTE THIS YEAR!!!
This year the Parade will be returning to the historic route beginning at the south end of downtown and traveling north up 3rd. The viewing area will be along 3rd Street from Market to Bladen Street. Bleacher seating will be located on 3rd between Grace and Chestnut Streets with additional seating located on Market Street. Concession stands and restrooms will also be available in and near these areas.
