The 74th North Carolina Azalea Festival Parade will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 – we hope to see you there!
The 2021 Parade will be broadcast live on GTV8 (Channel 8 on Time Warner/Spectrum) Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 9:30 am. Direct TV and some other TV service providers do not provide this network channel, however, you can stream the Parade live on your phone, computer, or other internet-connected devices through GTV8’s website.

General Parade Information
Main viewing areas will be all along 3rd Street, from Market Street to Bladen Street. Viewing along the route is always free, though reserved Festival bleacher tickets are available for purchase at the North Carolina Azalea Festival Ticket Office for $5-8 in advance, $7-10 on the day of.
Parking is available in all public parking decks downtown; access to the 2nd Street parking decks is via Princess Street only, and only until 8:45 am. Once in the parking deck, cars will not be permitted to leave until after the Parade is over. ADA parking is on the corner of Chestnut and 3rd Street, and is accessible via Chestnut Street until 8:45 am.
Azalea Shuttle provided by Wave Transit will be running from Independence Mall to the Parade every 15 minutes from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Fares are $2 per way ($4 Round trip). Children under five are free. Tickets must be purchased with cash. The last shuttle from downtown will leave at 1:45 pm.u
