Historic Home Tour
April 6 - April 7
The North Carolina Azalea Festival Home Tour is an annual event held by the Historic Wilmington Foundation. Proceeds from the Home Tour advance the Historic Wilmington Foundation’s efforts to protect and preserve the irreplaceable historic resources of Wilmington and the Lower Cape Fear region. Since 1966, the foundation has successfully saved more than 200 historic properties from demolition. For more information on the Historic Wilmington Foundation, please click here.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Governor Dudley Mansion will kick off the tour at 12:30pm on Saturday, April 6. Join City and County dignitaries and the Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Belles as we cut the ribbon and begin the tour!
Also on Saturday afternoon, Boombalatti’s will set up their ice cream truck at the parking lot of Temple Baptist Church at 1801 Market St. Free ice cream treats will be given to ticket-holders while supplies last. Each Azalea Festival Home Tour ticket is good for the full weekend. Tour-goers can attend either or both days, and may start or end at any point along the route.
