Last night may have been one of my favorite parades yet, although I might be biased considering it was in the beautiful home of the Azalea Festival!
The Wilmington Christmas Parade really brought the holiday cheer to our port city with streets lined with eager children and cars decked out with Christmas lights. The weather was perfect to kick off this holiday season, and the Christmas spirit was definitely evident in the parade participants.
Something that made last night even more special was having Jean Lawler, 2017 Azalea Festival President, as my driver! She lined her car with festive lights and drove me in the parade in her cute, little convertible. I had such a great time catching up with her and hearing about her next steps with the Azalea Festival.
