WILMINGTON, N.C., February 18, 2015 — The North Carolina Azalea Festival board is excited to announce Belk, the nation’s largest family owned and operated department store, as the Festival’s official Presenting Sponsor for 2015.

To kick off this partnership, the Festival has planned an in-store ticket blitz on Saturday, February 21st at the Belk in Mayfaire and on Saturday, February 28th at the Belk in Independence Mall. The Festival staff will give away tickets to certain events and raffle them off in various departments of the store every half hour throughout the day.
The raffles are scheduled for the following times:
- Saturday, February 21 from 1–3 p.m. at the Mayfaire Belk
- Saturday, February 28 from 1–3 p.m. at the Independence Mall Belk
- 1 p.m. – (2) Alan Jackson concert tickets in the boot department
- 1:30 p.m. – (4) Cole Bros. Circus tickets in the children’s department
- 2 p.m. – (2) Garden Party tickets in the dress department
- 1 p.m. – (2) Nelly concert tickets in the jewelry department
- 1:30 p.m. – (2) Garden Party tickets in the hat department
- 2 p.m. – (4) Parade bleacher tickets in the children’s department
To be entered to win, a guest must be present 15 minutes in advance at the appropriate department and register to win. Guests who allow the Festival to post photos of themselves on social media in Belk gear from the appropriate section with receive a second raffle ticket, doubling their chances of winning. Festival photographers will take group pictures of guests wearing garden party hats, cowboy boots, etc. Participants can check the Festival’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram posts throughout the day with more event details.
