Azalea Festival Pin Pals Presented By

The Azalea Festival Pin Pals is a commemorative pin program serving as a fundraiser for the North Carolina Azalea Festival AND a way to include more small, local businesses in the Festival Family…all while giving YOU the chance to win big!

Pin Program Details

Take home a commemorative keepsake Azalea Festival pin while vying for one of three Grand Prizes while also enjoying discounts at area businesses in the month of April. A drawing for 3 Grand Prizes will be held on Facebook LIVE on April 9, 2025. You do not need to be present to win.

Pins are $10.

2025 Pin Pal Partners will be added in December 2024!

 

Show your pin at participating Pin Partners to receive discounts and promotional items the month of April.

Register your pin with the Azalea Festival Ticket Office to be entered into the 3 Grand Prize Drawings.

The official rules are below.

How it Works

  • Do you own a business and want to be a Pin Pals Business Partner? We’ll be accepting business applications  October – February.
  • Purchase your pins starting in December.
  • Pins can be purchased online or at Festival events or through Festival ambassadors. Each pin needs to be REGISTERED with the official Azalea Festival Pin Pals Registration Form in order to be entered into the Grand Prize drawing.
  • Discounts from participating Pin Partner businesses will be for the month of April. Guest must show pin to receive the discount and/or promotional item. (Festival not responsible for any undelivered discounts.)
  • The Grand Prize drawing will be held on Facebook LIVE on April 9, 2025.
  • There are 3 Grand Prizes; 3 names will be pulled; 1st name pulled gets choice of prize, 2nd name gets to choose from the remaining two packages, and the 3rd name pulled receives the remaining package.


Official Rules

  • Pin purchasers must register their pin to be considered in the Grand Prize drawing.
  • All entries must contain a legible name and a working phone number.
  • The drawings will be held on the North Carolina Azalea Festival Facebook page – facebook.com/northcarolinaazaleafestival.
  • Three names will be drawn at random for the three Grand Prizes. The first name drawn will get their choice of one of the three prize packages. The second name drawn will get their pick of the remaining two packages. The third name drawn will get the remaining prize.
  • Winners names may be posted on our website at ncazaleafestival.org and promoted on social media.
  • Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Winners’ rights may not be transferred or assigned.
  • Arrangements for prize pickup must be made with the North Carolina Azalea Festival within two weeks of the Grand Prize drawing. The Festival will not be responsible for any shipping fees or charges.
  • If a winner of one of the Grand prizes declines to accept, a drawing from the remaining non-winning semifinalists will be made to determine a new winner.
  • No refund or exchange of pins purchased is allowed.
  • To participate in the Grand Prize Drawing, you must be 18 years of age or older.
  • You need not be present to win the Grand Prize Drawing.
  • Prize winners are responsible for federal, state, and local taxes and delivery/shipping fees, and licensing fees.
  • Pin purchasers or winners grant the North Carolina Azalea Festival at Wilmington, Inc. without additional compensation, permission to use their names, addresses, and photos in advertising publicity and follow-up marketing.
  • Persons in any of the following categories are not eligible to participate in the Grand Prize Drawing: employees and immediate family members of the North Carolina Azalea Festival, employees or agents of any Prize Sponsor, or Festival Board of Directors and their immediate family members. Festival volunteers, other than the Festival Board of Directors, are eligible to win.
  • Pin must be shown in person for business to honor any discounts/goods.
  • The North Carolina Azalea Festival at Wilmington, Inc. is not responsible for discounts/goods promised by Pin Business participants even if promoted by the North Carolina Azalea Festival.
  • Should Azalea Festival events listed in prize packages not be held; prizes will roll over into the next Festival year.
  • These rules are effective as of October 2024.

Sign up to be a “Prize Sponsor”: In addition to the discount you provide all pin purchasers in April, donate a $250 gift certificate that we’ll use in our Grand Prize Drawing. Receive name recognition in Grand Prize promotion, additional social media promotion of Grand Prize, as well as 2 Festival Concert Tickets of Choice in the Reserved Seating Section.
