Since coming back home to Wilmington and my princess duties, I had the privilege of visiting the slice of paradise that is Fair Bluff for their annual Watermelon Festival! The crisp watermelon was the perfect refresher on such a beautiful sunny day.
I cheered on the watermelon competition, where the largest melon weighed in at an incredible 223 pounds! I also browsed the charming street fair, gave the watermelon eating contest my best shot (although I didn’t have much luck), and had the honor of riding in the parade!
For the parade, my fabulous dress sponsor, Camille’s, helped me find the most perfect watermelon-inspired dress as well as complimentary earrings for some bling that were truly one in a melon!
