2020 North Carolina Azalea Festival Concert Lineup

The Azalea Festival is proud to be presenting four amazing bands to the Main Stage for the 73rd North Carolina Azalea Festival.

Aaron Lewis

Aaron has more than two-decade career, topping the charts as the frontman of Hard Rock Heroes and now his second act as a hit artist on the country charts as a solo artist.  Aaron is touring promoting his stunning new collection, State I’m in. Along with other hits such as; Love Me, The Party’s Over, Burnt the Sawmill Down, It Keeps on Work’in. Aaron has been quoted for saying “country music today is not the same country I grew up with. So, I’m making and writing country music that is reminiscent of the country music that I was force-fed as a kid.”

Sublime with Rome

Sublime With Rome was formed in 2010 by lead-singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Carlos Verdugo. The band is currently on tour in support of their hit 2019 album BLESSINGS with singles WICKED HEART and LIGHT ON.  BLESSINGS is the band’s third studio album. In 2020 Sublime With Rome is dominating the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining 5K+ capacity rooms and major festivals worldwide.

Michael Franti & Spearhead

Michael Franti is a musician, humanitarian, filmmaker, and activist who is recognized as a pioneering force in the music industry. He believes that there is a great battle taking place in the world today between cynicism and optimism.  His most recent album, Stay Human Vol. II, his highest-charting album to date, to remind himself – and anyone who’s listening – that it is still good in the world and that it is worth fighting for.

The Avett BrothersThe Avett Brothers have made mainstream waves with their hit songs such as; ​I and Love and You​, The Carpenter​, Magpie, Dandelion Roses and Sacrifice, Trouble Letting Go, Neapolitan Sky, and High Steppin.  The Avett Brothers are no strangers to North Carolina. In November 2018, the band headlined the concert for Hurricane Florence relief in Greenville, North Carolina, raising $325,000 to help those affected by Hurricane Florence.
